Bellator releases former champ Zach Makovsky

Bellator has cut ties with another former champion. First-ever Bellator bantamweight titleholder Zach Makovsky recently confirmed via Twitter that the promotion has released him.

Sucks. Hope Ufc picks him up

I think Makovski is undersized for BW. It may be time to consider a drop to FLW. He would be an awesome addition to the UFC FLW division which is in need of some serious depth

Premature cut imo.

I hope he does drop to FLW and the UFC adds him. He'd fit in great right now.

Wow....that's a bad call from Bellator, wonder if it's pressure from Spike, money, or something left unspoken....good suggestions on a wt drop, especially if it gets into the new FLW Div in the UFC.
