Former Gophers NCAA heavyweight champion wrestler Cole Konrad, who won $100,000 as defending Bellator mixed martial arts champion, has retired from fighting and taken a job with North Central Trading as a financial trader specializing in milk products.

Well, whatever floats your boat. He fought a few decent guys, but nobody really great. Good for Cole making a $100,000 and running. Can't blame a guy not wanting to get beat up for a living.

Proof Bellator doesnt pay enough IMO, nor are thei r Champs active enough. Dude left fighting to sell milk! I wouldn't want to see him in the UFC anyways.

He's up there with my least favourite fighters so I don't overly care but it does suck to see a guy with potential leave this early in his career.

Good for him, it always looked like he didn't have that killer instinct fighters need to be truly great.
