03/04 Arsenal FC
The 2003–04 season was Arsenal's 12th season in the Premier League, and their 74th consecutive season in the top division of English football. [1] In remarkable fashion, the team from North London managed to go through an entire league campaign undefeated [2][3] and regain their status as Premiership champions, thus becoming only the second team to do so since Preston North End in 1889. Manager Arsène Wenger had predicted in 2002 that his squad was good enough to go unbeaten for an entire season, [4] an accomplishment which he cited as a personal goal of his. [5] The 2003-04 Arsenal squad has been voted the Premier League's best ever team.

1993 Blue Jays
The 1993 Toronto Blue Jays season was the franchise's seventeenth season of Major League Baseball. It resulted in the Blue Jays finishing first in the American League East with a record of 95 wins and 67 losses. [1] They were shut out only once in 162 regular-season games. The Blue Jays would repeat as World Champions and become the first back-to-back champions since the 1977–1978 New York Yankees. The American League Championship Series would see the Blue Jays play the Chicago White Sox. After defeating the White Sox in six games, the Blue Jays would beat the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series, also in six games.

My dad is a huge Blue Jays fan. We have framed pictures and newspapers from '92 and '93 all over my basement. I was born in '91 and he considered me his good luck charm because of how well they did. I didn't even read the Arsenal one, this is more of a sentimental vote

Although I never saw a single game from that season, I went with Arsenal. Going undefeated is a big deal especially in Soccer. Special team for sure

Bit gutted in the results poll - guess a lot of people go with what I know I'll stick to, what I don't know must be bad as I haven't heard of it.

Just going purely off results 95 wins and 67 losses vs Played 49, Won 36, Drawn 13, Lost 0.

The fact arsenal was ranked in the best football team of all time vs a team who isn't even ranked in the best MLB team of all time?

I understand Budges vote but feel the others might be picking purely on the basis. A MLB team over a team theyve never heard of.

That is quite an impressive feat, cant deny it, but no soccer (football) team ever plays on 3 consecutive days, let alone 10 straight or even longer. Compare 162 games vs 49. Now add in the fact that MLB has playoffs, and at that time only 2 teams per conference made it, there is another 12 games played (8-4 record). Unless it's the all-star break, no team gets more than 1 day off. If baseball had a 50 game schedule, and allowed ties, you would have seen many more teams undefeated, or at least very close to it.

that's at least part of the reason why I picked the Jays...also because baseball is my favourite sport

Agreed. Imo this goes both ways Jay. My vote excluded, both teams are very close and for good reason.
