We do have some fighters who were cut that are still on rosters. I hadn't thought about how to deal with this, but it makes sense that for each fighter no longer in the ufc the owner loses 5 points, just like a trade. As for trying to take last place, you're not beating me to the sacko...its so cozy in there.

In the rules (#5) it doesn't say that you must cut and trade a released fighter, it just says that you can. It doesn't really affect me or my roster, but it seems that it should be the players choice whether or not to trade based on the way the rule is worded.

Agreed. They'll eventually get docked the 5 points anyways once they trade the released fighter. Either that, or they'll stay on their roster and take up a much needed spot.
