Airkerma's Real Time Fantasy 2013, Drafting Begins 1/1/13

What trevail said, and on a similar note, if your fighter retires or is cut I don't feel that you should be forced to drop a player, similar to keeping injured players in NFL fantasy on your active roster. It will only hurt your score by hanging on to someone who won't fight again in the UFC, but on the flip side, we had several guys retire then return, so it was somewhat pointless to make someone drop a fighter. You can draft eddie alverez for all I care, but if he doesn't end up in the UFC you're stuck with wasting a pick and losing 5 points to rectify it. Same goes for all SF fighters who have yet to merge.

I'm assuming you can pick them for future, but fighters from this weekend's event don't score any points since it isn't a UFC event.

If they don't crossover then it really only hurts your score....

For the new guys: on a similar note if you only have one WW for example and they drop down to LW for two consecutive fights then the move is deemed permanent and you would have to make a trade so that you still have a WW on your roster.

No corrections needed. Also you are prevented from trading if it will in the end leave you without a fighter in one of the weight classes.

Fajitaman's time officially expires at 8:26. Not 12 hours from Bubbles' late pick.

I suggest during the last half of the draft (round 8 to 14) that we reduce the time to 10 hours. If people don't follow the draft closely by that point its their bad.

We need to move things along as much as we can. Players can PM us several players in advance, so if someone is lagging and you have 2-3 guys you would like to pick up, pm them in order of importance and if none of them are picked in the meantime you will get the top guy and if the top guy is picked then your first alternative choice will be given to you and so on. Make sense?
