I don't necessarily disagree, but for whatever reason the NBA is much worse this year than ever before. The refs are making atrocious calls this year over and over and over again. It doesn't even feel like I'm watching the sport of basketball anymore. As for the players, everyone just seems to want to throw up 3PTs all game every game. Boring.

That's all I see when I watch college basketball

RAPTORS ARE IN 1ST PLACE

Also congrats to Chris Paul being the first ever to record 12 consecutive Points/Assists double-doubles to open a season. Tony Allen woke the bear (seriously a 1 game suspension? that's it?)

Although not the best face kick the NBA has seen

Watching the final minutes and overtime last night of the Pacers/Knicks game, I just had to LOL. Firstly because Shumpert fouled George on a game tying 3pt shot 3 feet behind the arc. Secondly since a foul was called because Shumpert's fingernail toughed George's elbow and the whistle blew after the ball hit outside corner rim. Then he hits all 3 FTs, sends the game to OT and every KnicK, outside of Melo, missed easy shots in the paint essentially handing the Pacers the win on a silver platter. Kinda felt bad for him but it's the Knicks and I smiled.

Oh speaking of which, seeing Bargnani in the white and orange with a blue sleeve looks weird. As does wearing #77

I'm pissed that I went to bed after the 3rd quarter of the Mavs/Rockets game. It was fun to watch, even though I am partial to the Mavs (Dirk is one of my favourite players). Howard never missed (was like 11/11 at one point and went 9/13 from the FT...yes you read that right), Parsons and Beverly were hitting 3s to cut into every Mavs run, and just kept scoring after that 40 point 1st quarter. Must have been a great comeback. Sorry George

Portland's 10-2 after their 8th straight win.

Figured I'd get this in before we finish 30-52

Lillard was such a solid pick up for you guys. That kid has boat loads of potential.

He could be in the top 5 PGs in the NBA right now, and probably already is

Indeed.

Just off the top of my head:
CP3
Parker
D-Rose (feel so bad for this guy right now)
Westbrook
Kyrie
Rondo
D-Will
Steph
Rubio
Holiday
Wall

I'd say Lillard's getting there, but a top 5 PG he is not.

He's close..around 11..12. I wouldnt put Rubio there, would put Lawson over him imo.

Top 10, Top 5 ...whatever, Lillard is awesome. Whether you think it or not....whatever. He's a great player any way you shake it. 12-2 is great any way you shake itm he plays within they team and they win. That's all I can ask for

Don't get me wrong, I like Lillard. Dude's a beast for sure. There's just so many great point guards in the league right now that he can't really be considered top five.

That's just my two cents. I like watching him play.

well the Raptors had a legitimate chance tonight but just fell short. After playing next to no defense in the 1st half, they played very good defensively in the 2nd half...but in doing so they completely blew the game in the 4th quarter. They had "Dwight Howard-itis" by going 2/10 in the final frame and missed 13 overall in the game.

OKC/GSW.

Westbrook just hit one of the very best game winning shots I've ever seen.

Man, when these two teams meet up they put on a show.

That was the first game of this season that I really sat down and watched from beginning to end, and they definitely delivered.

I'm excited to see the first match up between OKC and the Rockets this season.
