Patrick Cote took a fight against Cung Le on four weeks' notice, but unlike some who step up in the UFC, he was given no guarantees he'd be back.

"If I had a bad performance, they wouldn't give me another fight, for sure," Cote told MMAjunkie.com.

Cote lost, but was the first to take Le the distance. And with a full training camp, he said he's better prepared for his next opponent, Alessio Sakara.

No offense to all of our fine Canadian members but I'm sick of seeing these Canadian scrubs that get to fight cans whenever the UFC goes up North. It never fails. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought back the athlete MacDonald and had him fight warmachine or Misha Tate.

Cote should have been cut again after his piss poor performance in the Cung Lee fight.

Easy fight for Cote sadly. I love Sakara but his chin just isn't solid enough for me to ever bet on.

Skara hasn't been the same since Ron Faircloth put his balls into his lungs.
