Don't feel bad, a lot of people are doing bad or just so-so. Very tough card to pick.

IMO Joe is talking some nonsense right now, Akiyama may have defended the TD but Shields is landing way more strikes.

Not good for Akiyama to look great make the other guy look like shit and still not even win a single round.

I think this is the best card of the year so far. Tons of upsets, come backs, and finishes. Can't ask for much more.

wow sherdog play by play scored the first two rounds for Akiyama. Not sure what they and Joe Rogan were watching, because Akiyama got outstruck by like 2:1 from start to finish. You can't win a fight just by defending TDs and getting 1 TD where they guy just stands back up in 3 seconds.

What round did you give Akiyama? Basically all he did was stuff TDs.

I think we got screwed on a fight but these judges have done a good job on these fights IMO.

Definitely the best night of fights I have seen from top to bottom in a while.
Just wish my big parlay didn't get destroyed by the Mizugaki fight
And to think we still have 3 more fights to go...

Here's some numbers, for what it's worth. Shields outlanded Akiyama by a massive margin, almost 3:1. Akiyama landed 6 strikes in the first round lol.

That's not surprising at all. Cheick clearly has an ego that won't let him fight intelligently against power strikers with better chins than him.
