Earth-shattering numbers?

Not exactly, but considering that UFC 141: "Lesnar vs. Overeem" was held on a Friday night and not Saturday, coupled with the fact that Brock Lesnar was facing Alistair Overeem, an international fighter who was making his Octagon debut, and suddenly 750k seems like a home run.

Wow, given the timing and rest of the card, this surprises me.

Guess that's why they pay him the big bucks.

Funny but when it comes to PPV draws and popular fighters, it seems that the 'size does matter' philosophy seems to hold true for general fans.

Brock coupled with Reem's debut had me tuned in. Was excited for the Diaz-Cowboy as well. Not surprised at the buy rate

I'm certain there will be at least some carryover but I can't imagine him pulling Brock-like numbers.
