UFC 137 - Penn Vs. Diaz - Results/Discussion (Spoilers)

The pay-per-view event, which features a welterweight headliner between former UFC champ B.J. Penn and ex-Strikeforce titleholder Nick Diaz, takes place at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Official results beginning at approximately 5:45 p.m. ET (2:45 p.m. PT local time) for the preliminary card and 9 p.m. ET for the main card.

My first pick is also Jacoby rd1 tko!

5 minutes untill the event starts....I really don't know those first two guys so I picked Jocoby by UD based on simply him being the favorite to win....originally I had Tavares by KO because I though Jacoby would have stood and traded with him. Honestly though this is a pretty weak card for a $50 spot.

Slow start to the fight, nothing really happened in that round.

Jacoby looks terrible, rd1 was very close, Starkes clearly won rd2, if this goes the distance I think Starkes will get the nod.

Carmont does look like he'll have a long career, he's a beast.

Carmont looked good in that round, his striking looks very crisp, nice start Shawn!

Big round for Carmont, I would give that as a 10-8 rd, with that slam, the punch that knocked him down and his knees to the body.

Carmont cruised through rd 3, should be a straight forward UD won for Carmont.

I'm not even sure why Camozzi has a corner he doesn't do anything they say.
