Im on 63 points at the moment but I missed the hot bout . I had no idea who to pick, so I chose Lennox on the UFC.com fantasy, and him to loose on here . What I will say though, is holy ****!!!! Anderson Silva. Ive NEVER witnessed somebody k.o'd like that via a jab. The man is an absolute monster.

I'm having a lousy night overall, but that's exactly how I thought the Silva fight would go down. He's way better on the feet. Forrest is tough, doesn't quit, but just comes lumbering in. Easy target for Silva.

Round 1 – Both fighters stay light on their fight while measuring up the other. Griffin misses wide with a head kick. After resetting, he then fakes a low kick. Silva remains ever patient. The fighters paw before Silva catches a low kick, kicks back and tries to throw Griffin to the mat. Griffin remains on his feet and resets. Griffin again goes high and misses with a kick. Silva charges forward with a combination and then knocks Griffin down with a subsequent shot that's partially a knock down and partially a slip. Griffin waves him in for more. Silva connects. Griffin bobs and weaves and then throws a punch, and Silva counters and knocks him down again. He awaits for Griffin to get back up and shakes his hand. Surreal. Silva drops his hands, avoids a one-two and then knocks Griffin down again with a quick and short right to the chin. Silva waits a second before going in for the finish, and the ref halts it. Anderson Silva def. Forrest Griffin via knockout (punch) - Round 1, 3:23.

(Forrest Griffin stormed out of the cage immediately after the fight. Security tried to stop him, but he shoved his way free and ran backstage in almost a full sprint.)

wow. sounds like this one kinda got to forrest. thats too bad, he's always been one of the most levelheaded guys in the ufc in my mind. but if he got tooled the way it seems then i guess i understand

Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin
Round 1
Forrest misses short on a head kick attempt. Silva catches a Griffin lowkick and pushes him to the floor. Silva allows him to stand. Silva blasts Griffin with a left hook that drops him to the canvas. Again he allows Griffin to stand. Silva’s head movement is incredible. He evades a Griffin flurry and drops him flat with a left-hook counter. Silva punches the downed fighter and then stands. Silva is playing with Griffin; hands down, throws a short-right punch that knocks Griffin out. Amazing performance by the world’s greatest mixed martial artist. The official time is 3:23 of round one.

Silva made Forrest look like a rookie. Embarrassing.

Im so stoked for this fight, but I just cant get over the shock of the Anderson fight. I just cant get my head around how sick Andersons stand up is. Im going to be watching this fight, but all i'll really be seeing is Anderson knocking the **** out of Forrest .

As far as im aware, he got his blackbelt from a Gracie Barra gym, but not directly under a Gracie.

he started under the gracies but got his belt at Nova União

i had so much faith in forrest. anderson just made him look like..i dont even know im speechless.
