Now i know this event is still a little while off yet, but what if at UFC 100 they put all 5 belts on the line. But they would have to have no title fights at UFC 99 to make sure all champions have a good amount of time to train for the big event. I think this would draw some big numbers, and would be the big card the UFC needs right now. Tell me what you think.

It would be huge, no doubt, but it would be difficult to put a card on where the fights could potentially last like 2 hours. Also, the following 3-4 ufcs would have no title fights while the champs recovered so the ufc would most likely loose money on those ppvs. Its a good idea of paper, but realistically it ain't gonna happen.

yeah wouldnt be a good idea. this isnt like WWE where they can put all the titles on the line at one event.

i'd say the most they could do for one event is 2.

this event is way to big to be covered by just one thread.

It would screw up all the belt defense schedules. Say a champ is injured and can't defend from May til Oct or Nov, they wouldn't have the guy fight and not be ready for Dec. Then he retains but gets injured and can't fight til June or July or later.

***Just threw out random months for examples.

belt shouldnt have to go off a schedual, they should go off of when the champion wants to fight the #1 contender.

JMHO, I feel the opposite. Champs don't get to choose when they want to fight. Belts should be defended against top contenders roughly every 3 mos. That is enuf time for an uninjured champ to train for his next fight. It's on UFC's schedule, not when a champ wants to fight.

I had my own UFC 100 post.. In it I made a comment about how Ken Shamrock should face Royce Gracie for the Geriatric Weight Championship.. GW.

It would be awesome, but if Dana heard this, all he would think about is

Your getting 10 of the Best Fighters in your organization To fight on 1 night. If they did that, Seats would go double, and PPV will be $99.99. but hey, Id buy it

I'm still poor, so I will just read the Play By Play.. If there was one card I would pay for (given I had the money), this one sounds like it would be it..

The UFC doesn't NEED to do this card at all, let alone right now
