Since many MMA fans spent much of the week embarassing themselves in discussing the Bisping-Hamill fight. I might as well take the same path.

From Article

The judge who scored the match 30-27 Diaz was spotted chatting on his cell phone at one point during the fight and spent a chunk of round 1 with his back turned to the fight, engaging a woman sitting at the press table in a conversation.

This is my favorite part of the story.

This guy was testing his pimpin skills instead of judging. Classic!!!

This is crazy…. “… testing his pimpin skills” that is great. It sucks, but I would not say I am never going to watch ElitXC again.

I watch mma because of the ifghters not because of some guy judging the fight. Yeah there are bad calls made. What sport on this Earth are there not bad calls which cause controversy? It happens, oh well move on and keep promoting something you love. I can't believe people are actually threatening to quit watching mma because of the Bisping Hamill fight. You weren't a real fan in the first place. As for the judge talking and the phone and what not, that would NEVER happen in the UFC.

hahaha i like the reply that said aina did no damage to diaz and that after teh fight all he had was a small cut under his eye. Then you scroll back up to the pic of diaz's face after the fight and it looks like he got smashed in the face with a baseball bat

30-27 can be argued for hamill, but not aina.. i could've lived with 2 29-28s for diaz.. but a 30-27 was pushing it

That picture of Diaz is after the Gomi fight.

Yep he had that happen to him at the Gomi fight, and for what, a no contest. LOL. I wouldn't really say MMA as a whole as immature retarded fans, but rather every sport has immature retarded fans. Yep it sucks but everyone has to write they're dumbass opinion no matter how stupid it sounds.

That's why you finish the fight and not have it go to the judges, I blame the losers of decisions for that and that alon.

I was at the EliteXC event and talked to both Nick Diaz and Mike Aina after their fight. The 30-27 score was definitely bull. Diaz won the fight but from my vantage point 20 feet from the Octagon, I would've given Aina one round. Nick played it very safe, while Aina was definitely the aggressor. As far as who was more beat up, seeing them up close I would have to say Aina suffered a bit more damage.

The article states that Joey Villasenor's victory was a bit suspect. Don't believe it, Villasenor landed the bigger shots and took care of Fukuda on the ground. Fukuda just had a great chin and wouldn't go down.

There is not one decision that I can not see how the judges came up with their scoring. As for the judge not watching most of the first round, I would like to see another story giving some credibility. While I would not have given Diaz the first round, I can see how someone would have.

I will admit that the fellow gave Diaz a few decent shots, which had almost no effect on Diaz.

By the end of the fight, it was my impression that Diaz was simply toying with the guy. Did you see how EASILY he handled the guy towards the end of the second and 3rd round?

I thought that EliteXC possibly asked him not to embarrass the guy in front of the home crowd, and make it a long fight...or maybe Diaz decided this on his own.

Diaz is obviously a superior fighter, and he barely through a hard punch the entire night even though he was able to score DOZENS of light punches.

I am unsure of what exactly went on...Diaz was by far the superior fighter, and maybe he is just playing the game like everyone else.
