Just wondering if anyone ever heard why Jared Rollins was taken off the card against Ben Saunders? Jareds fight against Jon Koppenhaver on the Hughes vs Serra ultimate finale was awesome. it was such a great fight and i think that fight showed he had improved from when he was on the show and i was excited to see him fight again. that fight is actually one of my favorite fights.

i think there were rumors of it being an injury, but we never heard more than that of the situation.

Nobody said. When his being off was announced, they just said "no specific reason given". It's likely injury or a failed random drug test (remember they now do them year-round in Nevada, not just right after fights).

I think the reason is that someone upperdeckered his toilet.

This is all I could find

"Jared Rollins (6-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has been pulled from a UFC 87 bout with "The Ultimate Fighter 6" fellow cast member Ben Saunders (5-0-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and replaced by UFC newcomer Ryan Thomas (8-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC).

The UFC announced the change earlier today.

The Saunders-Thomas fight will appear on the preliminary card for UFC 87, which takes place Aug. 9 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

The reason for Rollins departure from the card wasn't immediately known.

Saunders, a fan favorite from "TUF 6," was knocked out of the reality-series competition by eventual show runner-up Tommy Speer. However, he returned at the show's live finale for an entertaining and hard-fought unanimous-decision victory over Dan Barrera. It was his fifth consecutive win.

Thomas, a former Eastern Illinois University wrestler, turned pro in 2006 and has fought primarily for the Courage Fighting Championships and Extreme Fighting organizations. Of his eight pro victories, none have gone the distance; five were won via submission and four via TKO.

For the latest UFC 87 fight card, which features a main event between UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and top contender Jon Fitch, check out the MMA Rumors section of MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "
