In a recent interview, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson made it known that he would rather be making movies than fighting. Saying "As soon as movies start paying me more than I make to fight, I'm gone." He now has clarified those statements by speaking to ESPN and saying that the only sure thing is that he only has two years of fighting left in him:

"I've always said I'll retire when I'm 35. I don't want to fight past 35. There are young guys coming in and doing good. I've been fighting for a long time and it's no secret that I don't fight the same way I used to.

"I've got a lot of injuries, one or two things that bother me. But when I'm fighting, the injuries don't bother me, it's the training that gets old. Going through each camp I go through all these pains and think, 'Man I don't want to do this anymore'. But after the fight I say, 'OK, I'll give it one more'. So who knows?

This.

I think he has 3 more fights in him (After Hamill). Jones, Griffin and Shogun. Doesn't matter what order, but those should be his last three fights.

Well I guess we will get the hammil fight and another then hes calling it quits. Lets be honest he isn't the most active fighter around.

I'd prefer seeing a Machida rematch, honestly. I feel as though that fight hasn't been finished, and it needs to be.

I feel they are going to push for Rampage vs Jones, if Rampage beats Hamill.

I just feel he shouldnt fight if he feels that way. Really makes me angry , if ure head isnt in the game step down and let someone who wants to be there take your spot.

i'm going to be sad when Rampage retires; he's usually always entertaining.

I think Rampage actually has a style that could continue to be effective as he gets past his physical prime.

This. I don't see why he should have to stick around. He's been the champ in the two biggest MMA organizations in history. He's been rather dominant, with the exception of a few fights.

Honestly, he wasn't bad, at least to me, as BA Baracus either. He has kids too, just do what you wanna do Page.
