Unless GSP gets caught, I see virtually no way that Condit can beat him. He certainly isn't subbing GSP, it's very doubtful that he will outstrike GSP, and I refuse to believe that Condit can out wrestle GSP.
I'm hoping for a rd 1 umaplata by Condit so I can post in the I was wrong thread. Like, epic wrong.

In either case, I picked GSP for both.

I expect GSP to win based on his superior strength and speed, as well as his impressive wrestling.
I want GSP to win because I really want him to fight Anderson and I think this fight is more likely to be set up if GSP beats Condit.

GSP, although I am very worried about him being out so long. I wouldn't be surprised if he lost a SD & got an immediate rematch.

Even though he has had a long layoff, I don't know how people can pick against him. Condit offers nothing to the fight. IMO he lost against Diaz and shouldn't even be having this fight, but that's a different story. GSP will win by KO in the first round or take Condit down for 5 rounds and win by decision.... we all know he ain't getting the KO.

i wouldn't pick condit even if i thought he could win (and i don't)

it still gets me fuming to think about him sitting out and waiting for the champ to get back

GSP is the best welter for a reason & when he returns he's gonna remind us all that he's unbreakable

Yep, the waiting game is over. I can't wait to see GSP take care of business. It'll be the back of the line for Condit at the end of this match. It's time they ditch that joke of an interim belt.

I hope this fight stay's standing so I can see GSP's Jab vs. Condit's leg kicks......said no one ever.

I am appauled.. as a REAL and TRUE GSP fan for years that so many people have seemed to forget what kind of a true champion he is! The first time I saw him fight (against Jay Hieron) I saw the potential in the kid and knew that he was way ahead of his time - he was the real deal, he was truly something else!

He has come off a big lay-off yes, but he has been training his ass off and he says he is 100% and he wouldn't tell us this if it were not true.. its sad to see so many people fall off the wagon like GSP hasn't done much in the sport and that Condit actually has a snowballs chance in hell in beating him! Lets not forget who de-railed the "unstoppable" (at the time) Matt Hughes, who crushed Sean Sherk (heavily favored to beat GSP), lets not forget the grueling fights and tough opponents GSP had to manhandle before Dana and the UFC gave him another shot!

After GSP wins in absolutely crushing fashion against Condit and redeems himself as the true champion, everyone who has forgotten is going to be rudely reminded of who the true GSP is and that he isn't going anywhere for a long, long time!
