K-1 Joining Bellator on Spike TV

Spike TV and K-1 have agreed to a strategic partnership that will begin this fall with live fights streamed on Spike.com beginning Saturday, Sept. 8, at the U.S. World Grand Prix Championships in Los Angeles.

There will be a total of four events that will be streamed live in 2012. In 2013, the K-1 events will move from Spike.com to Spike TV to coincide with the network’s extensive coverage of Bellator Fighting Championships.

YES! I can't remember when Kickboxing was last televised in the states, aside from an occasional PPV. Spike TV is still an abyss of a channel, but if they have K-1 and MMA, I'm fucking watching.

I don't remember the last time I turned it to that channel. They now have nothing remotely interesting. Hopefully they will do an Unleashed sort of show as well

Amazing news. Kickboxing will satisfy a large amount of the MMA audience that wants to not see "that grappling stuff."

I'm happy to hear this. I love K-1.

Now hows about some HD Spike.

This will fill some of the HDNet void for myself and other Canadians.
