Overall the Underdogs were the stars.. I'm happy. I went with Akiyama on the earnings.

Cha-ching. I made huge wagers on at least 3 underdogs and just won big on 2 of them (Oyama & Akiyama).

I estimate that I made about 720.000$

Stickan you should be given the title of MMA God. To rack up so much more than your next closest opponent.. Amazing..

I'm lucky I picked the right people to bet all my money on though. It's a shame i have to start over now . I would've loved to wager with 700.000 :D.

Ya congrats Stickan yor betting never ceases to amaze me this season....I made good money too i put the bulk of my money on Akiyama and Don Sik Yoon, but lost a little money on Kin who lost to Zelg....and as for picks I went 6 for 11, but got underdog points on Akiyama and Min-Soo-Kim. Not to start bitching or anything, but this event was the perfect example of how this wager system can get a little out of control....once again all props due to you Stickan, but when this many underdogs win people make a bundel, including myself

Yup I was lucky I had about 190k to cover all the underdogs so the risk of losing was pretty small.

People know less about the fighters in the secondary league which makes for some really strange betting lines like Akiyama +660.

Of course it takes skill to win in earnings but if I got to choose, I'd choose to win on points because that's where the most knowledge is shown.

B_Goetz for example is sick. Just sick. To be #1 in both secondary and main league takes some mad knowledge. I see myself as a diehard, hardcore, always thinking about MMA kind of MMA-fan but to be that good you have to 10 levels above that.


BTW. Really looking forward to 2 new badges. My goal is to cover an entire page with 1 post

I'll probably have close to $39,000 since the 2 guys I put $30K on won, the one that lose I only put $300 on. I won't complain with making the leaderboard twice in a row if I do, these 2 events have easily been my best showings yet.

Congrats Stickan. I wish I would have picked a little more conservative and been more risky with my bets. I did horrible on picks, I went 4-7. That was a devastating uppercut that took out Kang. Carlos didn't look to good...

Congrats Stickan, I made some cash, but not like that.
The +660 was crazy odds, I am sure that a lot of people made alot of cash on that one.

Does anybody know where I can watch videos of a few of these fights?

I was hoping more people would vote for Kang than Akiyama, so the price would go up, and there wouldn't be that many more winnners. I was staking a claim on it.. Now I won't be making the top ten.. Oh well.

Yeah it was quite entertaining reading the guy's small descriptions of fights..

As for missing it.. Don't worry. I stayed up all night just to see if Akiyama won.. I didn't get to sleep until 10:30 a.m. my time.. The event didn't start til like 5 a.m. my time..

Didn't do too good in points despite nailing at least 2 underdog picks but wound up #14 in earnings. Not too bad for 2 out of 3.
