After 22 months, multiple surgeries and one team change, popular Ultimate Fighter Season One fighter Nate “Rock” Quarry made his much anticipated return to mixed martial arts at last month’s UFC Fight Night 12 in Las Vegas.

That is very impressive. He did look good in his fight. When Drago dropped him, I thought it was over. Boy was I wrong. They put on a fight of the night performance. Quarry is a tough dude. Its amazing what the men and women of the medical world can do. Smart People! I have a short story to share. I was working near a high pressure pipe when it exploded, sending shrapnel through my neck. It exposed my carotid artery and severed the main nerve running into my arm. I lost full use of my arm and part of my chest, including my diaphragm. They weren't sure if I would have use of them ever again or not. Thanks to a GREAT!! Nerve Specialist(don't know the technical term), I now have 80% of my muscle and feeling back. The only reminder is a slight constant tingling in my arm, and an ugly scar going around my neck from mid-throat to mid-spine. Respect and Thank the medical world!!!

thats a cool story. But sell and quarry were not fight of the night =P
My friends and I spent most of that fight laughing at how slow quarry was, and how slopping each fighter's striking was. Still a cool story tho

I agree. I just meant it was an exciting fight. I'm not a big fan of Quarry. I think his speech after the fight was long and drawn out, but I just have to respect him for what he's doing.
