I would be writing ALL day if I wrote everything I love about this place! I will try to be specific enough and keep it short though. My son (8) has been under Master Lee for around 4 months now. He takes the WTF Taekwondo classes for the kids, and he has so much fun and gets a great workout! He doesn't like missing a single class (and that's odd for him!) He was going to another martial arts school where he went for around 4 months, we didn't finish our contract there (even though it was paid in full) because my husband and I felt like he wasn't learning. (Besides the fact that every time we turned around they had something else we needed to buy). I researched ALL the other schools in the Bryant, Benton, and West Little Rock area (naturally we wanted somewhere close) but with no success we found ourselves in NLR, thinking it would be just another "visit" to check it out. Boy were we wrong, my husband isn't as much into martial arts as I am, and after all the money we were out...he was burned and picky! But we fell in love! And it has only gotten better! I must be honest, since we have been at Ahrang Martial Arts (we pay month to month, no contract but of course you have that option), my son has learned more in 4 months than I feel he would have learned in a year at the other place. My daughter (4) recently started the classes and loves them. I can't wait to see how well she will do within a few months! Master Lee is so encouraging and uplifting to the kids while expecting THEIR best. I say Their that way because he doesn't expect them to do someone else's best. He is very observant and recognizes and focuses on their strengths while helping them with their weaknesses. Whatever their struggles are, he helps them to overcome them. From lack of confidence to coordination, he helps them overcome their obstacles. I take the adult classes which is Muay Thai...they are soooooo fun! I absolutely LOVE these classes! If you leave not feeling like you have worked out...well, its just NOT possible! Master Lee is a great instructor and pushes his students to their full potential. He also offers MMA classes, I haven't braved them yet....but I will, maybe ;). The school has a good mix of male and female students alike. I TRIED to keep it short, I tried REALLY hard....but one last thing, I have taken martial arts myself at other schools (Shotokan and USTF Taekwondo, (nowhere locally) but I must say this is BY FAR BETTER than the other schools I have been to, its not just the style, its the instructor and the students, I love it all! Just come check it out....he offers a free class (don't they all?) And, I'm sorry if my comment looks strange, its difficult to write a review (especially this long) on a Blackberry :)
