I studied under YB Kim through my middle school and high school years. He is the most skilled martial artist I have seen. He teaches not just the physical aspect of Tae Kwon Do, but also the history & philosophy behind the art. He teaches respect, honor and discipline, which has helped me in my daily life as well as in become a world class athlete. I owe a great deal of my success to him.

While in the USAF Security Police began taking classes with Grand master Hung chul kim and his son YB kim. Have been in Security, Law enforcement and Corrections for 20yrs. I will never forget my 3yrs spent with Master Kim and YB in the 80's. In my opinion Master Kim was to me and outstanding teacher, and one of the best Martial Artists i have ever seen.He is the real deal.....I miss those days very much.
