Karate For Kids - Beaverton, OR

This is not a program for young children. It moves fast and they don't stop to explain the moves to your child. Adults and teenagers also participate so it can be very overwhelming. I also felt that they just try to get money out of you--for example, $65 for the graduation ceremony (for the belt) when they haven't even learned anything yet, and then trying to get you to join the black belt program, for which you pay in advance for a full year (non-refundable). We paid for six months in advance because they said we'd save that way, and then they wouldn't refund our money when we left the program so be aware.
